Employed by PAGNY for NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan, located on First Avenue & 97th Street in Manhattan, accommodate over 313,000 outpatient visits, nearly 70,000 emergency room visits and more than 13,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital maintains an academic affiliation with New York Medical College. 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide MOHS surgical services to a dedicated patient panel
  • Attend to a full spectrum of dermatologic oncology procedures in a highly diverse patient population
  • Education of residents, medical students and junior medical staff

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited medical school.
  • Unrestricted NYS medical license, or the ability to obtain one.
  • Graduate from a Dermatology residency
  • Board certified in Dermatology
  • Fellowship trained in MOHS Surgery - Board Certification preferred but not required
  • Previous experience teaching residents preferred
  • Cultural sensitivity to a diverse and under-served patient population
