About the team
This team is involved in Design, code, test, implement, maintain and support applications software that is delivered on time and within budget. Work closely with customers, business analysts and team members to understand business requirements that drive analysis and design of quality technical solutions ensuring alignment with business and IT strategies and complying with FIS architectural standards.
What you will be doing
- Provides technical support activities for a software production processing environment.
- Installs, maintains and supports application/source code and/or its components and subsystems including third party software.
- Detects, diagnoses and reports related problems.
- Analyzes and resolves incidents, problems or known errors related to failures in application and supporting software components.
- Provides technical assistance to programming staff in the analysis of application software amends, performance and resource consumption.
- Creates and maintains complete documentation relative to the support of application software.
.What you bring:
- Must have 4 to 6 Years' in Production support in ETL/Datastage experience (preferably IBM's DataStage product)
- Must have experience of Unix/Linux based applications, including a very good knowledge in Unix/Linux commands.
- Must have experience in Oracle 12C/19C Database and SQL query tuning/Optimization.
- Must have experience in working with Control M Job Processing tools and Batch job support.
- Must have experience in investigating a client reported Incident ticket and provide a resolution within SLA.
- Must have experienced in all type of Oncall support issue, Handing Jobs Abend & provide a resolution, Customer interaction, and defect fixing in ETL Data Stage.
