What you will do:

  • Complete assigned preventative maintenance repairs requiring conveyor, mechanical, and other industrial equipment.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot control circuits, photo eyes, motor starters, relays, switches, sensors, and timers.
  • Ensure clear and constant communication regarding potential system issues, proposed fixes, and estimated resolution timelines.
  • Track and perform routine maintenance on conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
  • Ensure orderly classification of additional parts to allow for immediate identification.
  • Request and confirm that replacement parts are ordered and available when necessary.


What you will bring:

  • Electrical/electronic background and 3-5 years of related experience.

  • A bachelor's degree is preferred, however, a combination of experience and related trade school or an associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or mechanical technician programs will be considered.

  • The ability toobtain certification in maintaining Dematic systems will be required. Training will be provided.

  • The ability to read and interpret operating, maintenance, and safety documents.

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills as well as strong planning and organizational skills are required as well.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

  • Required to stand, walk, and climb stairs throughout the entire shift.
  • Require to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
  • Use of hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Must be able to visually inspect machines and hear for odd and/or inconsistent sounds.
  • Typical warehouse environment.

Salary Range: This role is a non-exempt (hourly) position with a pay range of $25-40/hr. Rate based on prior experience.

Location: This role is based out of our Cranbury, NJ Central Distribution Center

Work Hours: Monday-Friday 3:30pm-12am
