Education, Training and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year logistics, or similar work experience
- Forklift Certified
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team
- Good interpersonal and communication (spoken/written) skills; ability to positively motivate and influence people
- Possess good manual dexterity and be able to perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to learn new tasks quickly
- Ability to follow established procedures and maintain a steady output
- Be able to lift, stoop, bend and perform various other physical activities throughout the day, which may include some heavy lifting at times
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Good reading and math skills
- Basic computer skills
- Highly reliable with demonstrated record of accomplishment
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages shipment of all products, materials, and supplies
- Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service, service providers, and others involved in the shipment of products
- Tracks status of incoming and outgoing shipments
- Helps manage inventory
- Works with production providing parts required by Work Tickets
- Receiving orders for stock
- Pulling, packing and loading shipments
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Properly store and maintain parts, tools, test equipment and documentation
- Notify manager when parts need replenished
- Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
- Flexibility to work 1st or 2nd shift as demands increase/decrease
