Job Description

Lead and develop the Global Registration Team to deliver a world class service to all attendees and internal clients. Ensure flawless execution, embody a forward thinking mindset, and evolve the registration product and experience to constantly and consistently drive business growth and retention while growing at scale and keeping to Gartner's highest standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead a cross-functional team to create registration journeys that are deliberate, personalized, and engaging.
  • Drive continuous elevation, improvement, and innovation of the registration experiences for attendees, exhibitors, and Gartner associates.
  • Maintain global relationship with registration vendors, including day-to-day operations as well as future initiatives. Continuously evaluate our partnerships to ensure efficiencies and value.
  • Coordinate and manage registration materials as needed and ensure deliverables are timely and meet quality standards.
  • Partner with the communications and creative teams to implement a strategy for conference communications / onsite branding related to the registration experience.
  • Manage the on-site requirements and be a point of contact for all Global Conferences Registration.
  • Assist with the creation and implementation of operational processes and project management playbooks to maximize the impact of the role and team and allow for continuous growth at scale.
  • Routinely research industry trends and best practices in event registration.
  • Effective financial management and predictability including budget creation, cost negotiation and accurate forecasting; highlight risks, recommendations for allocation of funds to enhance the registration experiences.
  • Support team members/direct reports to enhance their skillsets and drive their professional development.
  • Travel to conferences and provide on-site support as needed.
  • Elevated and premium registration journey pre-conference and onsite that supports the needs of our clients, attendees and internal business partners.
  • Global operational effectiveness - scalable and consistent processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or Master's degree with focus on events and/or marketing preferred but not required with equivalent experience
  • 7-10 years of project management experience within the events industry and/or registration experience
  • Creative/Branding experience a plus
  • Project management and communication
  • Proven Operational Skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workload in a global environment
  • Excellent planning and project management skills
  • Ability to successfully facilitate collaboration across multiple functions, departments, and levels

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 79,200 USD - 123,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
