NYIT's Office of Career Success & Experiential Education seeks an Associate Director to work on both NY campuses (NYC and Old Westbury, Long Island) weekly by alternating days.

Responsibilities

Supervise Associate Director of Experiential Education.

Assist with Service-learning (S-L) and Internship Certificate Program (ICP) orientations, reflections, and reporting. Evaluate student learning and experiential education program participation and assist in developing end of semester and annual reporting. Contribute Experiential Education content for social media platforms (Instagram and Facebook); and for CSEE's blog and newsletter. Coordinate and deliver relevant workshops, information sessions and events.

Manage International Career Advancement Program and oversee associated programs including international student mentorship program. Update weekly lessons, read and assess assignments, award badges, and organize and manage community event.

Oversee the Consultants for the Public Good Program (CFPG) for the LI campus including program management, promotion, recruitment and evaluation on the LI campus. Develop service projects for faculty, staff, students, and local non-profits. Assist in managing Community Engagement day including project development, recruitment, and reporting.

Assist in redeployment of the Community Service Center (CSC) in LI, particularly its voter education and engagement efforts.

Promote and support the Federal Work Study - Community Service and VA Work Study programs.

Represent Career Success and Experiential Education at Admissions Open Houses, orientation programs, and other college-wide events which may occur on the weekend or in the evening.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

A Master's Degree is required.

Two years of experience in Experiential Education is required.

Must be able to demonstrate understanding of experiential education as well as previous experience with developing, promoting, managing and assessing programs.

Must have knowledge of technical skills in common software including Microsoft Office, Google Drive.

Ability to maintain social media pages.

New York Tech considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate experience/expertise, education/training, key skills, geographic location, internal peer equity as well as market, organizational considerations and/or applicable collective bargaining agreement when extending an offer.

Minimum Salary
USD $65,000.00/Yr.
Maximum Salary
USD $67,500.00/Yr.
