To drive continued success in this exciting Medical Device field, we are seeking a Clinical Imaging Specialist to join our winning team.


Job Summary:

The Ultrasound Clinical Imaging Specialist is responsible for leading the refinement of imaging optimization parameters and assisting with current and future product/feature development specifications. The job includes working closely with Imaging Scientists, Engineering, OEM Partners, Service, Marketing and Clinical Applications to elevate imaging performance, gather and prioritize product/customer requirements, and develop detailed clinical use cases for achievement of revenue and customer satisfaction goals.

Essential Functions:
  • Assist imaging scientists with image optimization activities and managing imaging parameter databases to maximize imaging performance for end users
  • Participate in design activities for new products -- Work closely with internal clinical applications, clinical experts, external partners, and engineers to define workflow, UI, imaging, and other system enhancements
  • Develop relationships with key opinion leaders and luminary sites. Travel when required to observe product performance at clinical sites.
  • Perform market research to aid in the understanding of market requirements and design accordingly
  • Use image editing and drawing software effectively to convey design ideas
  • Test, validate, and provide feedback on new features, functions, and imaging performance
  • Support product training efforts and market release of new products

Position Specifications:
  1. Knowledge/Educational Requirements

  • BA/BS degree, AS or equivalent experience
  • Ultrasound Credential (RDMS, RVT/RVS, RDCS/RCS) - Triple credential preferred

  1. Skills and Abilities
  • 10 years of clinical ultrasound experience
  • Commercial ultrasound (applications) experience
  • Prior clinical ultrasound marketing and/or product development experience strongly desired
  • Manage multiple tasks and prioritize appropriately
  • Strong communication skills
  • Solid team player and strong work ethic

  1. Physical Demands/Work Environment
  • Work is primarily performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available or in the field with customers
  • Travel is required - 30%.
