Job Description:

As a Manager of Corporate Development, you will support Zscaler's strategic corporate initiatives, including venture investments, mergers and acquisitions, and integration. The Corporate Development team collaborates closely with product and business leaders to advance Zscaler's strategic vision through these activities. You will play a key role in identifying areas of interest and engaging with companies in the security ecosystem to find the best fit. We continue to grow and are looking for individuals with a passion for cloud security, relationship building, and deal-making to help accelerate our mission.

Responsibilities/What You'll Do:
  • Monitor M&A trends within the cybersecurity sector and communicate key trends and observations to senior leadership.
  • Facilitate executive-level introduction meetings with top executives from targeted technology partners.
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of potential acquisition and investment opportunities.
  • Support the day-to-day aspects of the acquisition and investment transaction process.
  • Collaborate with senior management and internal teams across product management, engineering, finance, legal, and others to successfully execute transactions.
  • Build financial analyses and models to evaluate potential transactions.
  • Participate in the negotiation of transaction terms and conditions.
  • Provide strategic direction, high-level program management, and track results for integration teams.
Qualifications/Your Background:
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, strategy consulting, and/or venture capital required; MBA preferred.
  • Pre-existing relationship network in the security industry and with Silicon Valley companies strongly preferred.
  • Ability to present, articulate, and defend analysis with the senior leadership team.
  • Understanding of M&A processes for both public and private transactions, including strategic evaluation, negotiation, structuring, due diligence, and execution.
  • Strong business modeling and valuation skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent relationship building and negotiation skills.

Zscaler's salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range
$129,000$185,000 USD
